This Government Primary School, Nettapakkam is located in a rural area on the border of Puducherry and Tamil Nadu. While the school has classes only up to 10th, it caters to 317 students taught by 12 teachers. The school has requested Aalayam to sponsor a microphone and speaker set, which costs about Rs. 14,000.
The school regularly conducts programmes and competitions for the students. As there is not much space within the school, the gatherings are held in a public space along the road. The daily morning assembly is also conducted here and members of the local community participate in the gatherings at times. The school needs the mic and speakers to make sure that the announcements are audible to all students. Their existing sound system is in a poor condition.
Aalayam has reviewed this cause very carefully and agreed to sponsor the sound system, as it benefits the entire school. We request you to support the cause.
